Ryan's proposal 😍

It was late November 2019; November 27th to be exact. Ryan had planned to have us go holoholo around to Hilo since I was going to O'ahu for to help watch my cousins while their parents went to Vegas. I was totally unaware of the events that were about to unfold, I had just thought that he wanted to spend a day together before I leave, especially since we never have the same day off.  We started off late, traveling over to Hilo over Saddle Road. I had brought my camera to take some cool photos in the forest. I remember feeling a little jaded because we never stopped on the side hikes to go out and wander but it was dumping rain the entire drive. We ended up in Hilo on an overcast day, but it was nice to go to another town to cruise. We spent the day eating, shopping, and enjoying spending time with each other. I feel like my brain is exploding from pressure and stress. Honda Kona is giving me grief with my car and I feel like they are trying to screw me out of my warranty and money. I'm so frustrated with them and the issues that I am having with my dashboard light. I am probably going to contact the General Manager soon. I also am feeling overwhelmed with the new job, Constellation Learning Institute. This is my first time doing this, so I am freaking out a little. I just have to remember that this time last year I was almost doing the same thing, but just jumping into teaching science. I can't even believe that I survived that. Remembering this helps me to remember that I can do hard things. Celebrations - Engagement Anniversary

 This past Friday 11/27/2020 marked a year from when Ryan proposed to me on top of Mauna Loa 😍I think that I want to make this a tradition and have us celebrate on that day when we became engaged. It truly was such a special and sweet time. I will never forget it. Today we had the plan of going back up to Mauna Loa to do the hike, but that did not happen. I slept in and we left a little late in the day down to Kona. We drove around and went shopping. We forgot that it was Black Friday. I don't like Black Friday and never will. Haha. It is just another day to shop till you drop and purchase things that you don't need.  After wandering around Target for awhile, we ended up driving down south Kona to dive at the park by Captain Cook's Landing.
